## Which issue does this PR close? Part of #26300. ## Rationale for this change The Join arm is one of the largest branches in `map_logical_node_to_physical`. Extracting it makes the dispatcher easier to navigate and join planning easier to review. ## What changes are included in this PR? Move the Join arm into private `DefaultPhysicalPlanner` methods for input preparation, filters, and hash, sort-merge, and piecewise merge joins. Keep algorithm selection and output schemas unchanged. Other logical-plan arms are untouched. ## What is the testing strategy for this PR? This refactor uses existing planner and join coverage; no new behavior or tests are added. - `cargo fmt --all -- --check` - `cargo clippy --all-targets --all-features -- -D warnings` - Extended workspace tests: 12,790 Rust tests and all 536 sqllogictest files passed. The full lint suite is not green: `cargo audit` reports RUSTSEC-2026-0382 (`rustls-webpki 0.103.15`) and RUSTSEC-2026-0383 (`webpki-root-certs 1.0.9`) in the unchanged lockfile, also present on main. Dependency upgrades are outside this refactor. The planner benchmark could not run on either main or this branch because the ClickBench dataset was unavailable. ## Are there any user-facing changes?
