i am on windows and using git bash, but wanted to try the gui. problem is when i go through the steps in the gui (add, comment/ commit, etc.) i press the push button and i've tried both (orgin/ master) and arbiturary URL of git url github.com supplied but it just hangs and says "working.....please wait".
i let it sit there for 10 min and nothing (and it was just a simple readme change). when i opened git bash and committed and pushed from there it worked fine? even pushed the failed git gui changes, which tells me the commits worked fine, just not the push. not understanding why the gui isn't pushing it to github? kind of new to git, so that's probably an issue as well. --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "GitHub" group.
