Hello, (this is on cygwin, git version 1.7.3.3)
I have setup an account on github, and pushing and pulling via the git protocol works fine. However, when I try to do a push or pull using the http protocol (as I need to from certain locations), I get a password prompt, followed by a newline. Anything I type becomes visible, and git just hangs. Any thoughts on what could be going wrong?
