I want to use git for maintaining a website. I installed gitlab on a ubuntu vm without any problems. Created a new project and uploading, http, ssh, all works just fine. My only challange is to make the files I upload visible for the webserver. I know I must search this in webhooks and/or git checkout. The only thing is I can't seem to find what I miss. My goal and challange is to upload a site with git and make it visible for the webserver. And if possible without using a cron. Anyone got any suggestions on how to make this work? It can''t be that difficult.
