i have the same problem i can push but only in the internal network using 
http: but i can no do it nether from out of my network or by ssh. 

try this: git push http://git.yourServer/yourUser/yourRepo.git 
<http://git.markysgourmet.com/root/MarkysAll.git> master
this work for me in the internal network.
