I would like to setup a HA mode for GitLab CE (omnibus) and I am wondering
if this setup would allow me to upgrade the slave before upgrading the
master.

Both machines are using the same mounted NFS drive and are configured to
use the same external PostgreSQL database. I do plan to do the same for
Redis but my impression is that this may not be required if I am going to
use only one server at a time.

Now, the most important part, upgrading gitlab. I want to upgrade the slave
in order to see if there are any issues (as I had few in the past) and if
it goes well to upgrade the master.

Does this model works? What I am missing?

Is GitLab smart enough not to break the running master when it does upgrade
the database?

Cheers
Sorin
