We are using the latest release of EE (8.8.2-ee), testing for a move from Github. I am trying to get group sync working but I seem to be having issues with group sync only as LDAP users can login just fine.
Both the admin_group setting and the LDAP group sync when trying to tie GitLab groups to LDAP group's are not working. When I run gitlab-ctl tail and try to link an LDAP group to my GitLab group I get the following error while typing/searching for the LDAP group to sync: ==> /var/log/gitlab/gitlab-rails/production.log <== Started GET "/api/v3/ldap/ldapmain/groups.json?private_token=[FILTERED]&search=i&per_page=20&active=true" for 127.0.0.1 at 2016-05-26 03:21: +0000 â–½tarted GET "/api/v3/ldap/ldapmain/groups.json?private_token=[FILTERED]&search=it&per_page=20&active=true" for 127.0.0.1 at 2016-05-26 03:21:30 +0000 LDAP search error: Referral Any thoughts? I've found nothing on the error related to GitLab or the LDAP module/code that gitlab seems to be using.
