Hi Stacey, I'm glad you found that health check page. We specifically created the endpoint described there to be consumed by a monitoring system that can parse JSON. Instead of cron, I suggest you explore any of the many monitoring systems available like Sensu, Nagios, Prometheus, and the list goes on. Cron and Puppet are not monitoring systems and are not well-suited to this task.
