Hi, I first tried the Virtual appliance and that went all very smoth.
Then I tried the CE Installer and this got hairy. Now I an almost there. An iternal git server for our company using ActiveDirectory. The first installation had some problems, caused by the fact that I was sitting behind a firewall and I had some hard times configuring the ActiveDirectory. But this is now working too. I still have problems with pushing and pulling from and to the repository, but I am working on this right now. The most helpful ressource was this google group. However I must confess that comming from the Java world.
