Do you mean that I can compile a program that use libglade in order to be suported by Glade3 with out problems?

I mean, in gnome-db we have one GObject that use a GladeXML pointer in order to create a custom GUI called GnomeDbServerOperation, that stops in compile the gnomedb's glade catalog, do you know if this work could help?

very well be other memory corruptions and other dormant bugs that
will only show up under some corner use-cases...

have you run it with valgrind for instance ?

regardless, this patch definitly already fixes at least part
of the problem, so please go ahead and commit :)
