Erfgoed Gelderland is a cooperation for GLAMs in the Dutch province Gelderland. They stimulate and facilitate cooperation between their members and are an expertise center for stakeholders in the heritage of Gelderland.
Erfgoed and Wikimedia Nederland are joining forces in a pilot project focussing on small GLAM-institutions in the Dutch province of Gelderland. The project aims to give these institutions the knowledge and tools to contribute (parts of) their digital collections as open data to Wikimedia projects. Erfgoed Gelderland is now looking for a Wikipedian-in-Residence (1 year, part-time) who will train the participating GLAM-institutions in how they can effectively contribute to Wikimedia projects.
