A few weeks back we asked event organizers for ideas about the event metrics
they need [1]. We got a lot of great ideas that the CommTech team and I studied
carefully. The result, which I’ve just posted on wiki, is a proposal for an
ambitious yet achievable set of metrics tools and new reports. The ideas are
presented in two parts: the first post describes new metrics features at a high
level [2]; the second lists the data types and specific reports we're proposing
in detail.

i invite event organizers of all types to review these ideas and please provide
your feedback. Did we hit the right balance? What is missing? Please help us
help you. We’re listening!
