Oh well. It's the LOLITA build of GHC 0.29, so they must know what they're

Yet another question about module interfaces: The 0.29 release notes
"NOTES.interface" confess to not expanding type synonyms. But comparing some
LOLITA .lhs and .hi files, type synonyms *are* expanded. If my interface file
pre-processor is not to expand synonyms itself, I need to justify this
decision :-) So does or does not GHC expand type synonyms, please?
