I think symbols instead of letters in quotations would be better

	[t|  ...  |]
[::| ... |]   (but check "[::|" before a parallel array "[::]" )

and
        [p| ... |]
[@| ... |]

and similarly [d| 
[{}| ... ]

"[e|"? That's simply [| ... |]
