There is a x86_64 build already in Fedora Haskell. Perhaps you can try it? It may work for you.

I found some x86-64 binaries thanks to Anders' helpful suggestion (posted yesterday) at:
http://debian-amd64.alioth.debian.org/pure64/pool/unstable/main/amd64/g/ghc6/
