Hi,
Thanks for creating this group. Very helpful to read the forums.
Quick question:
I'm interested in buying a pair of half-rims from 39dollarglasses.
I'd like to get Transition lenses, but want to know people's opinion
on CR-39 versus polycarbonate. The cost of CR-39 transitions is ~$50,
and the cost of polycarbonate transitions is ~$90. For my
prescription (OD: -1, -1.5, 180; OS: -2), will CR-39's be unadvisable
for half-rims? Approximately how thick will they be compared to the
thickness of polycarbonates (for this prescription)?

Thanks again!
