Hi Elgin, Half-Eye frames or 'readers' are a traditional frame that usually sits much lower on the nose, have a longer temple and the frame usually looks like the top half was removed. The key ingredient is for the lens to be below the level of the nose bridge. These have been around for a long time and they work great for people who read while sitting, like in bed or on an airplane.
Here are a few examples I have found: http://eyeglasses.go-optic.com/store/EYEGLASSES/details.asp?id=2015 http://www.framesdirect.com/framesfp/Zyloware_Ultralight-ojnhr/r.html And Chuck nailed it with this one: http://www.zennioptical.com/cart/product.php?productid=1186&cat=20&page=1 Oh, and the http://www.optical4less.com/semirimless-eyeglasses/hr035/ frames could qualify, thank you.
