As for the axis. Yes, it *can* vary greatly from one eye to the other. Mine is 45 right, and 133 left. I have a greater astigmatism is the left eye.
As for the *** or ---, I'd have to agree with Chuck on this one. Ask your optometrist to decipher his/her chicken scratching for you.
