Ok.. this is odd, but did you know that the lenses inyour glasses started out as 70mm or so circular blanks in your RX, and they are shaved down to fit your frame.
What.. did you think they ground down a chunk of glass specialy for you? Anyway.. I could really use a few, circular, polycarbonate or cheaper plastic, round , unground 70mm simple reading glass lens RX at +0.75 or +1.00 Now, If I drive 5 hours to Toronto, show up at the Essalor sales counter, beg and plead, and pay cash, I can get a few ""samples"" for Cheap, Say $3-5 ea (its been a while since I emailed them) They dont ship. The local lens lab will set me up for $35-$40 ea.. Grrrrr........ Yeah.. I could rip apart dollar store reading glasses, but I want that nice round plastic lens..
