This is my first pair bought online so I wanted to share with other
newbies who may be timid. And a BIG SHOUT OUT to Ira who's Web site
(http://glassyeyes.blogspot.com/) gave me the power of information and
convinced me that "I can do this thing!". Turned out to much easier
than I imagined.

First I'll say I was skeptical. You know, "If it sounds too good to be
true... ". And I am not an eye glasses professional so these are
layman's observations. I am not affiliated with Zenni whatsoever
except I'm now a customer.

Overall satisfaction - Excellent
===========================
Very pleased and will definitely use Zenni again. I am done paying
huge prices at the optometrist's office. Sorry doctor, you're done
eating my lunch.

Time to deliver - Very Good
===========================
I ordered lined bi-focal glasses on 3/1/2009. I got a notice of order
shipment on 3/10 (from Sunnyvale CA) and they were delivered on 3/13
USPS First Class (to Hartford CT). Duration 13 days, not bad. It takes
about that long when I order glasses from my optometrist's office.

Cost - Excellent
===========================
$45 glasses + $5 shipping = $50 total
Extras
Included 80% tint (for sun glasses) for $5
lined bi-focals are an extra $19 over single vision lenes.
I have paid as much as $250-300 for similar optioned glasses at my
optometrist's office.
Zenni was half the price of the nearest online competitor for similar
glasses.

Quality - Excellent
===========================
 The perscription appears flawless. Materials seem to be high quality.
They are light in weight as advertized. Far exceeded my expectations.
For durability, I won't know that for a year or two of wear but the
seem to be well made and strudy. Tint does a good job of eliminating
sun glare. The quality seems every bit as good as what I have been
getting from my optometrist's office and these are 1/6 (one sixth) of
the cost.

What I ordered
===========================
3182 Memory Titanium Full-Rim Frame (with spring hinges)
(you can look it up by Searching "3182" at the Zenni site)
http://zennioptical.com/

Lens - According to Zenni, "All of our standard single vison, lined bi-
focal and progressive multi-focal lens are produced with premium
quality, high-index (1.57), polycarbonate composite, high-impact
resistant lens with full UV protection and a strong anti-scratch
coating.

Slight negatives
===========================

Web site is a bit clunky. It does not remember your perscription. You
must reenter the perscription everytime you browse from frame to
frame.

Anti-reflective was not availble for tinted glasses. Not sure if this
matters for glasses not used at night. Again I'm not a eye-pro.

Case provided was cheap hardshell plastic. Good enough for the auto
glove comparment but not a fashion accessory. Ah who cares. Heck, go
buy a decent looking case for $3 at an outlet store.
