I have placed three different orders with Zenni (for a total of 7 pairs, none of which I am happy with, but that is a story for a different post).
In the first order, both pairs had the anti-reflective coating applied to both sides of the lens, as it should be. In the second order, both pairs had the anti-reflective coating applied only to the front of the lens, so there is still one set of strong reflections. Thinking this was a manufacturing error, I got an RMA to return them (although I haven't yet mailed them back). The third order was like the second, with only the other surface coated. What is going on? Their FAQ says the coating is applied to both sides. But now that I have received two orders missing half the AR, I must assume it is on purpose.
