Hi,

Just thought I would stop in and share my experience with Goggles4U.

This was my first online glasses purchase; I haven't had a pair of
prescription sunglasses in years and after reading about glassyeyes on
consumerist.com, I decided to take the plunge.

After reading a lot of reviews and browsing the sites, I ended up
choosing Goggles4U, despite some of the neutral things I'd read.
Their selection of frames for sunglasses seemed much better than the
other sites, which was one of my biggest deciding factors, but I also
was heartened to see that they seem to do a reasonable job of
resolving any issues that may arise.

I placed my order at the beginning of March; I just recently received
them. The appearance is great - the frames look new (I've read that
some people received bent or scratched frames, this was not my
experience), and the lenses seemed to be great quality - no scratches
or scuffs as I've read others have experienced.

Unfortunately, though, the minute I put them on I realized the
prescription was totally incorrect. I confirmed this today after
taking them to my eye doctor, just to be sure. I've e-mailed
requesting a full refund per their return policy; though I'd love to
try to get the correct prescription so that I can wear these glasses,
I'm just not interested in waiting another month only to be
disappointed again. I'm seeing that many others have experienced this
same prescription issue with Goggles4U, which is too bad, because they
do have a solid selection of frames.
