You wouldn't want them anyway. The $35 upgrade would put you into polycarbonate lenses, and poly probably has the worst optical properties of any lens out there. Especially for Rx's beyond +/- 3.00 diopters. Maybe you should write O4L in the "special making" section, and inquire about price in CR-39. They're famous for saying "nothing is impossible". Half a diopter extra shouldn't be to hard to make.
Unfortunately, most of the online retailers have an up-charge once you go above (or below) a specific diopter. It varies from vendor to vendor, so definately shop around. There *are* other online vendors besides the ones listed here on Glassyeyes. Try doing a google search for "online eyeglasses" (use the quotes).
