I purchased mine from Eye Buy Direct around Oct or Nov last year. I
can wear children's lenses as well, and have a pretty high index.

Well, I got my order in 2 weeks, as promised, and I'm pretty pleased!
I went with Eye Buy Direct because Zenni couldn't even do progressive
lenses!

My frames are a good fit, the prescription was spot on, although of
course with progressive bifocals there IS a learning curve! And the
price? OMG, about $82 shipped with all the coatings compared with
well over $350 at any optical place including Sears! They are pretty
lightweight too!

I didn't even try the fitting feature, where you can upload a photo
and "try on" the glasses! I might do it for future purchases...

Just get a pair of frames that you like the fit and shape of, and
measure them. Then you can search on the site for frames that fit
your own specs! Make sure you have a prescription from an optometrist
you trust. Ask them to try viewing through both lenses while you are
in the chair, sometimes the binocular vision may be totally different
from looking through each lens individually! Test looking near, far,
near. Try reading a book or magazine. If you have a video iPod, try
viewing a video on it, or try using your phone features while you are
still at the optician's!!!!! They may be a little annoyed over you
taking a few extra seconds, but dang it, they're YOUR eyes!! Be sure
that $100 is well spent!!! Ask them to measure your pupil distance,
they shouldn't fuss... If they do, go to Lens Crafters and ask them,
or have someone measure you at home!

Once you know the measurements you like, finding frames will be
easier!

I will certainly be buying my glasses on line again! In fact, soon,
as I need some good sunglasses, LOL!
