I'm amazed at how long the squarish narrow lens shapes have stayed in fashion. Maybe I should just wait until the pendulum swings back, but I'd like to get some rounder frames before I get too much older.
I know I can get small roundish frames at a higher price, but it's been hard to find anything at the $25 price level. Most ovals I'm finding are too narrow. I don't want them quite as round as this, though 40mm (or slightly smaller) might work: http://zennioptical.com/cart/product.php?productid=1072&cat=0&page=1 Here are some examples: http://focusers.com/windsors.html http://www.focusers.com/peabodypierceLTD.html http://www.shuron.com/ronstrong.htm http://optometristattic.com/7330_Optometrist_Attic.htm Plastic would be fine, too, and some of the above are plastic. A while back, someone reported that one of the online places let you specify your rimless lens shape and size, but I can't remember which place. Does anyone remember? --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ Check us out at the oft-updated http://glassyeyes.blogspot.com!
