Second Order from Goggles4U.. Got a nice flashy frame, but didn't clue in that it was 1/2 rim, and so my 1.71 index glass lenses were switched to ? index plastic lenses. I guess I better be really careful looking for the rim bottom in the future. Despite that, the glasses are useful, look good, but I was worried they just wouldnt hold up as well as glass lensed full-frame ones.
G4U support offered my %50 off on the next pair when I brought this up, so I have ordered a different frame, full frame, with glass lenses this time. So.... Happy so far. Only thing I wish is that Goggles4U would stock more RECTANGULAR, short height lens METAL frames, preferably full frame and in BLACK !!!! What else.. Spring temples are evil! Short height lenses are essential for high myop -12.00 RX's to keep edge thickness on the lenses to a manageable minimum. And plastic frames don't have adjustable nose pads, so ya better have a regulation nose, or you are SOL.. <grin> So 137+ wide, 25 or less high, or so, rectangular, or at least with angular corners...
