I filled out the form on Coastal Contacts for one pair of frames. I
never entered my credit card information but I got an email saying
they had received my order. I just figured it was sent out in error.
Later I got another email saying that my glasses had shipped. In all
my online ordering I've never had a company consider an order done
without entering payment information. So just be aware. The glasses
that arrived had bolts sticking out of the lenses which hadn't been
trimmed to fit the lens thickness. The bolts had plastic around them
and together they stuck out about 1/4 an inch from the lenses.
Funny. Anyway, Coastal Contacts emailed me a shipping label to return
the glasses to them at their expense. You can't go wrong with that
return policy. I just didn't like the quality of frames or the edge
of the lenses. The real kicker was that the glasses didn't fit me
because the web site doesn't show the size. That is why I held off on
ordering them (or at least thought I had). The script was good.
