After generating a lot of comment about my broken 90 day old memory titanium bridge from Zenni, I would like to tell about a great customer experience with Clearly Lenz. I had been shopping around for a while to find someone who would retrofit a perfectly good Lenscrafters titanium frame that is a lot more durable than the Zenni frames I have ordered. I wanted polycarbonate lenses, a real anti- glare finish and not very high index for under $100. Believe it or not , that wasn't so easy to find. Zenni's progressive lenses for $30 were actually not bad although with lower index and not very real anti- glare coating. Based on a post, I wrote to Clearly Lenz and started corresponding with someone there who was extremely helpful, knowledgeable, proactive and courteous.
I decided to take the plunge and send my frame for not much postage to Shanghai not knowing what to expect. They kept me up to date with the receipt of the frames and the shipping. They replaced the lenses with comparable index great anti-reflective coated polycarbonate lenses (comparable to Lenscrafters) for $80 plus express shipping of $10( I received them from Shanghai in less than a week and tracked them all the way!.) The experience was really great with no hassle and really superior customer service. They even tried to save me the hassle of sending the frames ( not really a hassle at all) by trying to find a comparable frame based on the pictures I sent them at their request. The next time, I order glasses, I will try a frame from ClearlyLenz as well. Highly recommended.
