I've gotten some stuff done. 1) I updated the Echo documentation for the latest version of Echo. 2) I updated the map editor, now, for campaign maps, you can set whether a particular team is an AI or a human.
I'm next going to begin begin creating the new Nicowar. This new Nicowar won't closely follow the behaviours of the last Nicowar, but it will certainly be powerfull. Here is an outline of what I intend to create: 1) Nicowar will create buildings based on the populations and the active phase. 2) Nicowar will have whats called "active phase". There are a few so called active phases, and they aren't mutually exclusive (more than one phase can be active at a time). For example, when Nicowar is preparing to Attack, it will have the AttackPhase set. If its trying a rapid recovery, it might have the RecoveryPhase set. If its just building up its base, it will have the EconomyPhase. 3) Nicowar will set Inns and Swarms for the phases set. 4) Nicowar will attack once the number of available units reaches a certain ammount. It will attack buildings, one team at a time, perhaps multiple buildings at a time. It will choose which building to attack based on the buildings type and its proximity to you. 5) Nicowar will upgrade buildings much like Reach To Infinity, randomly and with lots of units 6) Nicowar will farm, and it will put Clearing Area arround its buildings. 7) Nicowar will defend any building that comes under attack with a War flag centered on that building.
