Hi, the software management of GLPI is not perfect. It need to be modified to be more natural / logical. We talk about it since a long time but we do not have find time to do it. A plugin is a solution, but it is the complete software management system of GLPI which need to be improved. you can start a brainstorming on this subject on this mailing list and try to imagine a best management system. When a schedule of conditions will be done, we need to see how to migrate from the glpi system to the new system. Then, someone will be affected to this task and it will be integrate in the glpi's core directly.
