[Glpi-dev] Add asset Category

I would like to know if it is possible to add an asset category to GLPI 
for tracking UPS's.  I have tried tracking them using the asset tag 
category of Devices but it is not a good fit as it does not allow me to 
easily track battery changes and service intervals.
