Ahem, no. I've had seen that, but i've not understood that i can use for this. But as above i think that this is suboptimal: consider the case when you have to upgrade a bunch of critical box. Tipically i install an equal set of new box, test, deploy, and keep the old box ``as is'' for some time to be really sure that all works. In this way i need to uninstall software (that i've not really uninstalled), or ``fake buy'' some licence and then delete them. I think better, really better, to simply have the licence count go negative for some amount of time. If you really dislike that, put a global configuration option that enable or disable negative count licence. Also, please, add a field to software that define the type of software (SO, Application, Service Pack, ...). If i lookup something (the '?') and i click on software (for example) the box are filled with the software id, but the type remain ``computer''.
