Hello, I am trying to set a clean configuration for OCS and GLPi. I'd mainly use GLPi to manage software licenses.
When I import computers from OCS, all the diferent softwares are imported as global licenses. This is not, I think, the most 'usable'. Here is what I suggest (don't know if it is posible). OCS tells GLPI "Microsoft Office 2000" is installed on "LAB_COMPUTER". So, I have, under Inventory -> Softwares, a line called "Microsoft Office 2000", with a global license and 1 installation. And I would prefer to have only, one line called "Microsoft Office 200" with 1 installation, and no licenses. This way, I can scan a 10 license's bill, add it in Documents linked to "Microsoft Office 2000" and add a license for 10 installations, with 1 already used by "LAB_COMPUTER". The greatest would be that everytime GLPi synchronize with OCS, It just deals with the name of softwares, and the numer of installations, letting me do what I want with the Licenses part. What do you think about that ? Cheers, GS. _______________________________________________ Glpi-user mailing list [email protected] https://mail.gna.org/listinfo/glpi-user
