I (ab)use GLPI to manage also medical system, using the 'customfield'
plugin:

to handle some specific data; on 0.72.X custom field plugin works like a
charm, now i'm using 0.78.X with the latest snapshot, and fighting a
bit with it i can still make it work.
I've also register as a forge user and tried to interact with authors,
but laconically Ryan Foster reply me:

So i'm still on 0.78, i've never tried to move to 0.80.X, to have
customfields plugin work.
I'm a really dumb PHP programmer and i've really scarce time, but if i
needed i can provide help or support in some other way.
Or, there's in the plan for next GLPI release a feature like that? Now
i know perfectly the schema of customfiled plugin, so if some sort of
similar feature are implemented, i can move my data easily.
Please, provide me some info...
