Hello

I guess this is what I was getting at with my original question.

Since ssh is disabled how would one go about configuring Gluster platform to respond to snmp requests?

Given that ssh access is disabled by default, which I understand why that is, I would be interested in learning what the options are for enabling something like net-snmp on the server. Between snmp and ssh access there would be a starting point for getting data.

Hello,

Is there a way to monitor a gluster platform server via snmp?

Given that you can configure snmpd to trigger and report the results of more or less anything, the answer is theoretically « yes ». The real question is whether you can gather the data you want reported in the first place.
