Old post, but would like to mention that there is a workaround to sort your
Labels :)

An example:

I want to sort these 5 labels:

Normal alphabetical sorting:

People
Phone Log
Project X
SMS
Work

Now I want "Phone Log" and "SMS" to be seperated from the others

Solution:

| People
| Project X
| Work
Phone Log
SMS

By adding the "|"-Character in front of the name, those labels come first
:), this can be expanded with other random characters
