Hi I am trying to set up auto forwarding of mails coming to a generic ID ([email protected], say) to several individuals with various mail IDs, not necessarily gmail IDs. To do this 1. I created a google group which has as members all the individuals' mail IDs as also the generic mail ID, [email protected] 2. I am the owner of this google group, of course 3. In Settings, Forwarding and POP / IMAP, I clicked on the button 'Add forwarding address'. I enter the group ID as [email protected]. I am told that a confirmation mail has been sent with a verification code and I am asked to enter this verification code and confirm, However, there is no mail sent to either my own personal ID, or the generic ID ([email protected] or the group ID [email protected] (for the group I looked for a post, but found none) 4. Since I cannot enter the verification code, the process is not completed.
