Hi Mike I'm not really making much sense of what you are trying to do but what I suggest is this:
1. Backup your Outlook PST file and keep in a safe place. That way you will not *lose* your Outlook email. 2. Connect Outlook to Gmail via IMAP and copy your emails from the local folders to where you want to see them in Gmail.
