Couldn't it simply be an option to repurpose the star to add a GMarks
bookmark instead of a Firefox one? It could be turned off by default, but
then we who use Gmarks exclusively can turn the option on.

Another thing I miss is the ability to use the address bar to search both 1)
previously entered addresses, 2) the browsing history *and* 3) the Google
bookmarks. Just like it is now in Firefox, where the Firefox bookmarks are
used. I know I can just press Home twice to search in Gmarks, but sometimes
I don't know whether what I look for is in the history or in the bookmarks.
Would it be possible (as an option, of course) to let Gmarks simply take
over all the functionality of the Firefox bookmarks? That is what I really
would like. Maybe best done by keeping the Firefox bookmarks synchronized
with the Google bookmarks at all time.

Or is there another extension for that purpose/functionality?
