yes, but then, at best, I can only encode single vob files. This is fine if the vob file includes the entire film. Most likely, this isn't the case. Also, it doesn't appear as if gmerlin_transcoder recognizes the vob format so well. I can load vob's okay, but they register as 0:00 length.
I was hoping there'd be a way to do something like mencoder does. mencoder -dvd-device /path/to/iso dvd://1-4 -o out.avi I couldn't find a way to tell gmerlin_transcoder to open another dvd device other than the one it recognized. If I mount the .iso to /mnt, is there a way to trick or tell gmerlin_transcoder to look for dvd's there? thanks -august > Have you tried mounting the .iso with -o loop? > > -Evert- > > On Mon, Aug 30, 2010 at 12:36 PM, august <[email protected]> wrote: > > > > Hey, > > > > Is there a way to transcode an .iso image of a dvd? > > > > gmerlin_transcoder only seems to be able to look for "real" optical > > drives. > > > > -a ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ This SF.net Dev2Dev email is sponsored by: Show off your parallel programming skills.
