Hi,

as a US-Organization, Sourceforge is of course concerned with
US export regulations. This means that by default downloads
are not possible for IP-ranges from certain countries.
Fortunately project admins are able to change these settings.

The only evil application I can imagine for gmerlin is making
propaganda videos. But this applies to all countries, not only
the ones, which are believed to form an axis of evil. In particular,
gmerlin does not deal with any kind of encryption.

Therefore I enabled downloads for people from Sudan, North Korea,
Syria, Iran and Cuba and welcome the potential new users :)

Burkhard
