We have again the same problem, that we don't know where exactly (at which line) the problem happens and as soon as you use --enable-debug, the bug might disappear (you can of course try it though). By the way, can you try bgavdump alea.mpg ? It's what I usually do for testing gmerlin-avdecoder because it doesn't use anything else. If that wouldn't crash, I'd be tempted to blame the rest of your code :) Are there any memory checking tools for OSX (similar to valgrind on linux)?
