Solaris 10 and later does but Solaris 10 needs the bug fix. If we cannot make an configure test, we need to know if there is a release where the assembler can be trusted. Perhaps Solaris 11? And how about "Open Solaris", "Open Indiana", etc...? BTW, I also didn't today's email from you with the test tarball results, are you getting a bounce at least? You mailbox really *is* full then.
