This is good.
The Plugin to work asks me a mesh. I did a ruled surface with the boundary
points and I meshed it. After that I run the pluging and create a new view.
Now I want to create a volume with this new view. But I am not able to save
the new view as surface.
How can I do?
Thank you very much

Isabella

Hi,

see: http://geuz.org/gmsh/doc/texinfo/gmsh.html#Post_002dprocessing-plugins

Plugin(Triangulate)
Plugin(Triangulate) triangulates the points in the view `View', assuming
that all the points belong to a surface
that can be projected one-to-one onto a plane.

If `View' < 0, the plugin is run on the current view.

Plugin(Triangulate) creates one new view. Numeric options:

    View
        Default value: -1

Dave

Dear all!
I want to create a surface directly from points. Is it possible to do?how?
I have a DTM of an area, I want to trasform the points in xyz and import it
in
GMSH. I cannot create lines and areas for every nearest points, because it
is
too long. I'd like to create a surface directly from the points.
Can you help me?
Thank you very much for any suggestion.

Isabella
