So I'm trying to create a 2D mesh of triangles for a geographic study area. The study area is about 200km by 200km in size. I want a mesh covering that area with average triangle areas of 10km. After trying some sample meshes I cannot see how the 'element size' property of my polygon's points correlates to real world areas of lengths of edges. Is there some sort of formula for translating the 'element size' on points to the average area of output triangles, or average length of sides of output triangles? Thank you Andrew Rudin
