You are really PATIENT waiting for FOUR months for the answers. Ask the person around you they might be able to provide useful suggestions.
There might be some libs linking problem. I have never tried the Cygwin, you may really try "searching" first before "waiting". lina P.S if I were you, I would try on linux.
