Gnash currently makes his own sockets. I agree ideally it should allow the hosting app to do that instead, but anyway in this current situation you can instruct Gnash to read cookies from a file using the GNASH_COOKIES_IN environment variable. The file must be in the mozilla cookie format. See the libcurl page about that format [1]. The curl adaptar code is libbase/curl_adapter.cpp, function importCookies.
