For your information the W3C published (July 21 2010) a draft for improved Cross-Origin Resource Sharing [1]
[1] http://www.w3.org/TR/cors/ The idea behind it is allow publishers to specify their access control lists in a way similar to the one used by Flash with its crossdomain.xml file but integrating it in the HTTP protocol itself and in each and every request. Interesting lecture. Firefox 3.6 implements the client side. Luckly we haven't implemented it in Gnash, so we don't have to make it conformant now :P --strk; () Free GIS & Flash consultant/developer /\ http://strk.keybit.net/services.html _______________________________________________ Gnash-dev mailing list [email protected] http://lists.gnu.org/mailman/listinfo/gnash-dev
