According to http://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/?31816 a regression was introduced about use of libltdl.
The lenny-linux-x86 slave used to pass FileIO tests in build number 11 [1] which was with commit 'dd2f2fc87bfa8291c18eaa1774196072d020a489' The same slave failed FileIO tests in build number 12 [2] which was with commit '5a8952cf6f6675fa7ce2bb91986133419459e3f4' [1] http://gnashdev.org:8010/builders/lenny-linux-x86/builds/11 [2] http://gnashdev.org:8010/builders/lenny-linux-x86/builds/12 Now, the changes between those two commits can be extracted using: git log dd2f2fc87bfa8291c18eaa1774196072d020a489..5a8952cf6f6675fa7ce2bb91986133419459e3f4 Since the introduced bug is about libltdl not being used, you should only consider the comits that had to do with libltdl. Excellent job buildbot does, right ? Well, Rob is of a different advice. For him, buildbot is annoying. This was the reason why he killed buildbot last time (he said) on IRC. Now, I have this habit (maybe uncomfortable) of seeking the truth. This is one of the reason why I love free software. It lets you know more about things :) I hate when people say "no, it isn't that way" w/out even trying explaining why and how it is instead. In this case, Rob went as far as closing the bug report as invalid (!) Congratulation Rob. Once again you show your best attitude as a project leader. --strk; ----- Forwarded message from Rob Savoye <[email protected]> ----- Date: Mon, 20 Dec 2010 14:47:56 +0000 From: Rob Savoye <[email protected]> Subject: [bug #31816] HAVE_LTDL is not guaranteed to be defined when extensions are built To: Rob Savoye <[email protected]>, Sandro Santilli <[email protected]>, [email protected], Benjamin Wolsey <[email protected]> In-Reply-To: <[email protected]> X-Spam-Level: Update of bug #31816 (project gnash): Severity: 5 - Blocker => 2 - Minor Status: Confirmed => Invalid Open/Closed: Open => Closed _______________________________________________________ Follow-up Comment #10: If you change the bug severity again, you will loose write access to savannah.
