Hi all, For your information, tuxmobil.org, a great reference site authored by Werner Heuser, with numerous installation guides and howtos for mobile devices running GNU/Linux, Unixes or BSD-systems, has just created a new page about the laptops developped and manufactured by Lemote Tech (China) ( www.lemote.com ).
Lemote Tech has proved in the past months to be a key contributor to our porting effort of the gNewSense distribution (gNewSense mips-l), a project endorsed by the Free Software Foundation (FSF) (www.fsf.org). The first howtos and installation guides listed in the page dedicated to the Yeeloong laptop are: - "How to install Debian on Lemote Yeeloong" ( http://www.sorbaioli.org/2009/01/20/how-to-install-debian-on-lemote-yeeloong/ )from Graziano Sorbaioli - "Entering dragon land—the Loongson laptop" ( http://cinnamonpirate.com/2009/01/entering-dragon-landthe-loongson-laptop/ ) from Derrick Sobodash For more information, see: http://tuxmobil.org/lemote.html Thank you to all, Best regards Samy _______________________________________________ gNewSense-dev mailing list [email protected] http://lists.nongnu.org/mailman/listinfo/gnewsense-dev
